Masterfoods USA Mattoon, IL Architect: Allen Engineering This 144,000-square-foot, pre-engineered steel addition features 46-foot-high concrete panels to accommodate a clearance height of 38 feet for warehousing and storage. Interior requirements included food grade finishes and a fire protection system built to Factory Mutual Standards. Extensive site work was also required for the project. |

Guardian West Urbana, IL Architect: Isaksen Glerum PC Broeren Russo supplied and erected the pre-engineered Butler manufacturing steel building for this 250,000-square-foot factory addition. Unique structural considerations included: a 20-ton, 60-foot span, electric overhead traveling crane; a substantial amount of suspended process piping; and heavy duty rooftop units for a special custom chroming process unique to the automotive industry. | |

Rantoul Water Treatment Plant Rantoul, IL Architect: Sodemann & Associates Broeren Russo provided management services to schedule and monitor the construction sequence of this project, which included the construction of two new solid contact basins (each 30 feet in diameter) and related items for this addition to the existing plant. The construction and renovation was completed in 18 months with little or no down time of water service to the village. | |

Human Kinetics Warehouse Champaign, IL Architect: Henneman, Raufeisen and Associates Broeren Russo coordinated the work of all trades for each of the three phases of this design-build project, which included the addition of a 17,000-square-foot warehouse, a 5,000-square-foot maintenance building and a 1,500-square-foot receiving area as well as the renovation of the 20,000-square-foot existing warehouse. In addition, Broeren Russo was responsible for the concrete foundations, doors/frames/hardware, metal studs, gypsum systems and painting. This phase work was accomplished without disrupting current operations in this owner-occupied space. The zero lot line restrictions also posed a unique challenge to this project. | |

County Materials Corporation Champaign, IL Architect: Homer Chastain Broeren Russo was responsible for the construction of this 24,000-square-foot project, which included an automated block kiln and required very close interface with new manufacturing equipment. | |

ConAir Corporation Rantoul, IL Architect: Allen Engineering Broeren Russo was responsible for the design and construction of a 145,000-square-foot warehouse. Unique requirements of this project included: very high water table, lime stabilization of soils, special sprinkler systems to accommodate the materials manufactured and a short time schedule. | |

Port 95C Warehouse Port 95 comprises three industrial warehouse structures and a stand-alone office complex. The warehouses, totaling 144,000 sq. ft., include 28 foot, clear-height, tilt-up panels which divide the combination warehouse/office units. The 10,000 sq. ft. office building offers a waterfront view. | |

Commerce Park The Cypress Commerce Park is conveniently located in Hillsborough County visible from I-75. Phase one shown here consists of four buildings housing 25 warehouse/office bay using tilt wall construction practices. Flexible layouts can accommodate the needs of a wide variety of users from approximately 2520 sq. ft. office / warehouse to 84,000 square feet office headquarters. Phase one shown here will be completed in June of 2006. Ultimately the Cypress Commerce Park will consist of 10 buildings with total square footage approximately 300,000 square feet. |
