Heartland Bank
Champaign, IL
Architect: Francois and Associates

Broeren Russo served as the construction manager/contractor for this 10,000-square-foot banking facility. Self-perform work included finish carpentry, wall finishes and the general trades. The facility houses a multiple-zone system, storefront entrance, high-end electrical fixtures and wet-dry sprinkler systems. Specialty banking equipment includes a reinforced concrete vault, drive-through teller line and equipment, ATM and high security alarm systems, all coordinated and installed under Broeren Russo supervision.



Hawthorn Suites (formerly Radisson Suites Hotel)
Champaign, IL
Architect: Henneman, Raufeisen & Associates

Broeren Russo was the construction manager for this building with responsibilities for the overall project, budget, and schedule. The initial four-story, 125-room concrete block and plank facility was completed in 1990. A second phase of construction, completed in 1997, included an additional 71 guest suites and 10,000 square feet of conference and meeting space. The original facility was completed in 11 months.


Roberson Transportation
Mahomet, IL
Architect: Henneman, Raufeisen & Associates

This project, which included a 44,000-square-foot steel-frame office building and 10 acres of site work, was completed in 11 months. As construction manager, Broeren Russo was responsible for coordination of design work to meet the owner's needs and budget. The project was on a very challenging schedule and budget and required working with the village to extend utilities to serve the new building.


Sullivan Parkhill Mercedes Benz/Volvo
Champaign, IL
Architect: Henneman, Raufeisen & Associates

As the construction manager for this new automotive dealership facility, Broeren Russo coordinated design efforts throughout construction of the project. Our expertise allowed the owner to utilize very valuable high-visibility frontage. Unique requirements included: reclamation and re-use of land previously used as a storm retention pond.


Tile Specialists
Champaign, IL
Architect: Architectural Spectrum

Broeren Russo coordinated design, budget and schedule for this 40,000-square-foot office and warehouse. Challenging aspects of this project included: custom millwork for the high-end commercial office area; 100-foot clearspan building with no interior columns; and a portion of the space designated for recreational use by the YMCA.
