Countryside School’s new Gymnasium and Performing Arts Addition is on schedule for a spring of 2012 opening. Masonry work on the new Gymnasium and Performing Arts is expected to be complete September 1st with structural steel starting immediately after. New parking lots are near complete.

Work is progressing at the new Applied Technology Center for Parkland College. We have finished the earthwork, site utilities, and geothermal well field. The structure of the building is approximately 90% complete and interior floor slabs are scheduled to begin by the end of August.

Broeren Russo is nearly complete with the office shell at the YMCA & Larkin's Place and ready to start drywall next week. We are on track to have it open the 2nd Quarter of 2012.

All major trades are on site working toward the anticipated late fall completion of the Urbana Park District’s Planning & Operations Center. Exterior finishes and interior framing have been completed. Exterior paving, interior masonry, glazing, drywall and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work are in progress.

The Christie project is a 10,000 SF medical office space remodel for the Pulmonary and Dermatology department relocations. Broeren Russo is the Construction Manager and General Contractor and is coordinating the concrete, carpentry and finish work with self-perform trades. The new space will provide a benchmark for Christie Clinic in regards to layout and finish selections that they will use for future projects. Design of the project started in March, 2011 and the construction crew mobilized on May 9th. Drywall and finishes are currently in progress and occupancy is scheduled for October, 2011.
